Hello! We’re Charlene Vomacka and Marissa Massey, proud co-owners of Ugly Dad Doodles and one of the best Goldendoodle breeders in California. Our husbands, the brilliant minds behind “Ugly Dad Doodles,”inspire our fun-loving and playful approach to life—and to breeding beautiful, happy, healthy Goldendoodle puppies! We believe in bringing laughter and joy into everything we do, which is why our breeder names reflect our sense of humor and love for family. We have to add this disclaimer, of course, our husbands aren’t ugly—it's just a fun, playful name to spark interest and laughter in others, just like it does for us!
Our Story
With over 30 years of combined breeding experience, we joined forces to turn our passion into a truly family-centered business. Our puppies are raised in warm, loving homes where they’re surrounded by the joyful chaos of everyday life—children, infants, elderly family members, and of course, our husbands. This rich, diverse environment helps each puppy grow in confidence, develop strong social skills, and blossom into the playful, outgoing companions we adore.
Caring for our dogs is a family affair. To us, they’re never “just pets”—they’re family. Each puppy is loved, spoiled, and thoughtfully socialized to ensure they’re ready to seamlessly become part of your family. We’re committed to raising well-rounded, happy, and healthy puppies who are fully prepared for their journey home.
Many of our beloved moms live in guardian homes, where they receive the same love and attention as those with us. Once they retire, they remain cherished members of their forever families—just as they deserve.
