From thoughtful breeding decisions and veterinary care to early puppy development and lifelong breeder support, our goal is to give every puppy—and every family—the strongest possible start.

Your $500 Retainer
A $500 non-refundable retainer fee is required to reserve a puppy and is applied toward your total adoption fee.
Your retainer helps cover the planning, care, and resources involved in responsibly raising each litter, including:
Breeding-related veterinary care
Progesterone testing
Ultrasounds and X-rays
Raising and caring for the puppies
Reviewing applications
Communicating with families
Planning thoughtful puppy placements
Your retainer is credited toward your puppy's final adoption fee.

Information about your puppy's current food and feeding routine to help make the transition home easier.

Every puppy goes home with 30 days of complimentary Trupanion pet insurance, activated on pickup day.

Our 2-Year Health Guarantee
A Healthy Start. Support Along the Way.
We take the health of our puppies seriously—from the thoughtful selection and health testing of their parents to the veterinary care and preparation they receive before going home.
Every Ugly Dad Doodles puppy leaves our care in good health, with age-appropriate immunizations and appropriate deworming.
Our Puppy Adoption Agreement provides a two-year warranty against debilitating congenital defects and conditions for which the parents have been genetically tested, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement.
A COMMITMENT THAT STARTS BEFORE BIRTH
Responsible Breeding Starts with Healthy Foundations
Our breeding dogs undergo appropriate health evaluations, which may include:

Cardiac testing

OFA eye testing when indicated
Health testing helps us make informed decisions about the dogs we breed and the pairings we create.
Important: Your First Vet Visit
Within 7 Business DAys
Your puppy should be examined by a licensed veterinarian within seven business days of going home.
This allows your veterinarian to establish a baseline for your puppy's health and identify any concerns.
The Puppy Adoption Agreement requires this examination within the specified timeframe for the health warranty to remain valid.
What is Covered
Our two-year health warranty covers debilitating congenital defects and conditions for which the parents were genetically tested, subject to the requirements outlined in the Puppy Adoption Agreement.
If your veterinarian identifies a suspected covered condition, the appropriate veterinary records and documentation will be required under the agreement.
If a confirmed covered condition requires surgery, the agreement provides for surgical expenses up to the original purchase price of the puppy.
If A Covered Genetic Condition is diagnosed
We'll follow the process outlined in your Puppy Adoption Agreement. The agreement includes provisions regarding replacement puppies and other remedies for qualifying congenital or genetic conditions, subject to the specific terms, documentation, and requirements outlined in the agreement.
What is Not Covered
Important Exclusions
Our health warranty has specific exclusions and requirements.
The current Puppy Adoption Agreement excludes conditions including:
Luxating patella
Viral illnesses
Infections
Improper bites
Hernias
Hypoglycemia
Worms
Giardia
Coccidia
Illness caused by ingestion of foreign objects
Illness caused by food or chemicals
Physical injury

What we Can't Guarantee
Every Puppy Is an Individual
Because Goldendoodles are living, growing animals, we cannot guarantee a puppy's eventual:
Adult coat
Allergy-friendliness
Degree of shedding
Color
Disposition
Conformation
Size or weight
Markings
We can make educated predictions based on a puppy's parents and lineage, but every puppy develops in their own unique way.
A Health Guarantee Is a Partnership
Once your puppy goes home, their continued health depends on the care they receive throughout their life. We ask families to provide regular veterinary care, keep vaccinations current, feed a quality, appropriate diet, maintain a healthy weight, provide appropriate exercise, and follow the requirements outlined in the Puppy Adoption Agreement.

Our relationship doesn't end when your puppy goes home. We encourage our Ugly Dad families to call, text, or message us anytime they have questions. We genuinely love receiving pictures and watching our puppies grow into the dogs they were meant to be.
